We meet at our activity center 5–10 minutes before the activity starts. Here, you can park your car and store your belongings during the tour. You will meet the guide and receive an introduction to kayaking. In this group we recomend you to be familiar to sea kayaking and in good shape. You kayak in your own clothes, so make sure to dress according to the weather forecast. We provide life jacket, spray skirt, and gloves (if it’s cold).
We then go down to our kayak dock, surrounded by the orange cabins of Sakrisøya. We will kayak in sturdy double kayaks, making it easy to enjoy the scens and keep up with the group. During this tour we will make a stop in the fjord and enjoy the midnight sun, make sure to bring snack and water.
Wind and weather conditions will determine the route of the tour. Our guides tailor each tour to the current conditions, and no two tours are ever the same.
- We have a minimum age of 14 years old. If you like to book a tour with children, email us and see if we have avalibility for a family tour.
- Arrive at the center (Sakrisoya 2, 8390 Reine) a few minutes before departure (5-10 minutes).
- Bring clothes according to the weather, you kayak in your own clothes. It is good if you have a wind or waterproof jacket, the arms can get a little bit wet from the paddle.
- Good to bring a water bottle and a bigger snack if you like.
- The entrance is at the backside of the reception house to Sakrisoy rorbuer.
- If you have a car, park it behind the activity center house.
- If the weather is too bad to kayak in we will reach out to you and try to re schedule, if it is not possible, we cancel the tour.

We offer a low guest-to-guide ratio of maximum 6 people per guide to ensure you a personalized tour where safety and communication is easy for everyone to maintain.
